Futon is used in Japan and few countries in East Asia. In Japan, it is used on Tatami mats surface. Imagine yourself sleeping in futon into Tatami room, a soothing and refreshing sleep is waiting for you. Futon is so much different from bed as you have to fold and stow it every morning. Of course, you could visit Japan and sleep in one at Onsen Ryokan (Hot Spring Inns). But why? You can do just that at your own room. Sleep in Futon and you will wake up feeling the cultural difference every day.
